MEET THE FOUNDER

BRENNA BRADBURY
Brenna (she/her) has been practicing and studying movement for over 20 years, and has taught workshops and held teacher trainings in New York and all over the world. She has taught at Aerial Arts NYC, Body & Pole (where she served as Assistant Programming Director), Om Factory (where she held the title of Aerial Director), The Muse, and Atmananda Yoga Studios.

In addition to her teaching career, she has performed as an aerialist at venues such as The Box, The Slipper Room, House of Yes, Sony Hall, and Galapagos Art Space. Her journey in this world started long ago when she proudly placed 2nd in the 2015 U.S. Aerial Championships, Silks Division, and was selected as a finalist in the 2016 U.S. Aerial Championships, Lyra Division.
Brenna co-owns a specialty entertainment company called "Let Them Eat Cake!" - an aerial extravaganza which aims to highlight both professional and pre-professional circus performers and aerialists. She also owns High Flying Retreats, an aerial retreat company that cultivates travel experiences which allow aerialists to both train and play hard in unique locations with specialized instructors around the world! MEET THE TEAM

Adam Tabellija (he/him)
Adam is a NYC-based actor, aerial performer, and instructor with over ten years of aerial experience. He has performed at The Slipper Room, DROM, and is currently a resident performer with Company XIV in Brooklyn. Adam also teaches aerial hoop at Body & Pole and has a background as a NASM-certified personal trainer. As an actor, he has toured internationally on cruise ships and performed at regional theaters across the country. His classes combine professional performance experience with athletic precision, helping students grow both technically and artistically.

Aimee Lee (she/her)
Aimee discovered aerial performance while looking for non-traditional workouts and quickly fell in love with dancing in the air. She has performed on lyra, silks, trapeze, and rope at venues across New York City. Aimee also teaches fitness disciplines including Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and aerial yoga at gyms and studios citywide. Known for her upbeat and approachable teaching style, she brings energy and humor into every class—often fueled by her favorite matcha drink. She is excited to share her passion with the students of Levitate.

Dillan Harris (she/they)
Dillan is an aerialist specializing in straps, rope, silks, and hammock. She began training in Los Angeles with Brett Womack and later with David Gray, along with many other respected coaches. Dillan’s passion for aerial has taken her around the world, from studying act development in Greece to teaching workshops in Slovakia, busking in Eastern Europe, and performing on tour with Aerial Experience Productions and Paper Doll Militia. She has also created full-length shows in NYC. As a teacher, Dillan strives to guide all students in building strength, honing technique, and cultivating creativity in the air.

Elena Delgado (she/her)
Elena has been teaching aerial arts in New York City for over a decade. She is known for her fun, inclusive, and engaging teaching style, emphasizing positivity and conditioning for beginners, and technical precision and creativity for advanced students. Elena is also a choreographer, femcee, and aerialist who writes and directs her own aerial theater productions. She regularly performs throughout the city, bringing artistry and energy to every project she undertakes.

Hannah Risner (she/her)
Hannah is an aerialist and coach based in New York City with a background in contemporary dance. She has been performing professionally since 2010 and brings that artistry into her teaching. Hannah challenges her students to explore their limits while ensuring a supportive and safe atmosphere. She specializes in aerial silks, lyra, and conditioning, blending strength and creativity into every class.

Ina Du (she/her)
Ina is the founder and producer of Let Them Eat Cake!, a monthly aerial cabaret based at New York City’s world-famous Slipper Room. She has been training aerial since 2013, specializing in lyra. Ina believes in the power of aerial arts to heal, transform, and empower, and she especially loves troubleshooting tricks to make them work beautifully for all body types and ability levels. She brings creativity, inclusivity, and passion to her teaching, helping students discover confidence and artistry in the air.

Jake Nguyen (he/him)
Jake began his aerial journey in 2020, starting on lyra before expanding into straps and aerial pole. Spinning quickly became central to his practice, shaping his fluid style and seamless transitions. Jake believes aerial is for everyone, regardless of background or body type, and is passionate about creating an inclusive space for exploration. His classes balance strength, grace, and joy while inspiring students to push their artistry further.

Jimbo (she/her)
Jimbo is a Tokyo-born, NYC-based performing artist, educator, and collaborator whose work spans contemporary dance, hip hop, martial arts, aerial arts, sway pole, and physical theater. She has performed with Pilobolus Dance Theater, Fuerza Bruta, and at events such as the Met Gala, among many others. Jimbo continues to perform, teach, and collaborate across the city. She brings a global perspective and multidisciplinary approach that inspires her students both on the ground and in the air.

Kat Neufeld (she/her)
Kat Neufeld grew up in Los Angeles but has long called New York home. She has studied circus arts for over 15 years, beginning with flying trapeze before branching into silks, rope, and hammock. Kat is passionate about sharing her love of aerial with both youth and adult students. Her teaching blends strong technique with a welcoming spirit, helping students build confidence and creativity in the air.

Kati Schwartz (she/they)
Kati is a theater artist and aerialist who combines clowning with circus arts. Since beginning their aerial journey in 2018, they have performed in NYC venues such as The Slipper Room and Dixon Place, as well as internationally. Kati has also worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum, shaping a teaching style that is compassionate, inclusive, and engaging. They are dedicated to creating opportunities for students of all ages and abilities to connect with aerial performance.

Kristin Corayer (she/her)
Kristin is a movement enthusiast whose aerial journey grew from her dance and yoga background. She holds certifications in Vinyasa yoga, aerial yoga, and advanced aerial training, and has been teaching for over a decade. Kristin has led teacher trainings and mentored new instructors, blending her knowledge of dance, yoga, and aerial arts into dynamic, accessible classes. Her sequences emphasize flow, creativity, and body awareness for students of all levels.

Kristin O’Connor (she/her)
Kristin has been an aerialist for over ten years, specializing in lyra and single-point hammock. With a background in gymnastics as an athlete, choreographer, and coach, Kristin emphasizes strong form and technique as the foundation for artistic expression. Her classes combine athletic movement with graceful dynamics, offering students both challenge and inspiration.

Kyla Ranney (she/her)
Kyla moved to NYC in 2015 after earning her BFA in Dance and quickly discovered her passion for circus arts. She has trained with renowned coaches around the world and brings over five years of teaching experience to her classes. Kyla blends her dance background with aerial technique, creating an encouraging environment where students can develop artistry and strength. She has performed at venues such as The Box, The Slipper Room, and Paradise Club.

Luciany Germán (she/her)
Luciany is an aerialist and dancer based in the Bronx, New York. She performed with the Streb Extreme Action Company for more than seven years and is currently touring with Monique Martin’s Minty Fresh Circus. Lucy brings high energy and deep knowledge of performance to her teaching, and she is passionate about helping students discover their own strength and artistry in the air.

Nicholle Bittlingmeyer (she/her)
Nicholle is an NYC-born artist who began her creative journey in opera and classical music before discovering aerial in 2019. A native Spanish speaker, she enjoys connecting her vocal training to aerial performance and teaching in both English and Spanish. Nicholle’s “slow and steady” approach emphasizes patience and persistence, showing that aerial is for all ages and backgrounds. She helps students build confidence while exploring movement as self-expression.

Onyx Noir (she/her)
Onyx Noir is a performer, producer, and aerial instructor based in New York City. With a background in theater, burlesque, and dance, she primarily works on lyra and hammock. She has performed at venues including House of Yes, The Slipper Room, Nurse Bettie, 3 Dollar Bill, Duane Park, and Company XIV. As an instructor, Onyx creates a fun and engaging environment that emphasizes strong technique and the development of new skills. Her classes balance artistry with athleticism, encouraging students to explore their creativity in the air.

Rachel Hjerpe (she/her)
Rachel grew up immersed in the ballet world before discovering aerial arts after moving to NYC. Over the past decade, she has trained hoop, silks, and hammock with coaches across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Rachel’s teaching emphasizes accessibility, strong technique, and movement quality. She creates an environment where students at every level feel supported and inspired to grow both artistically and physically.

Zepe Zauer (any/all)
Zepe is an aerialist and dancer originally from the West Coast who now calls New York City home. Zepe began as a dancer before discovering aerial acrobatics at the age of thirteen and has pursued circus arts ever since. With years of performance experience and a deep love for movement, Zepe is honored to be part of Levitate. Their teaching emphasizes joy, exploration, and inclusivity, and they are grateful for the opportunity to share aerial with students of all backgrounds.
